Hydroquinone – An FDA – approved ingredient for lightening or bleaching age spots, brown spots and other hypergimentations on the skin.

Hyperpigmentation – Excessive discolorations resulting in darker areas on the skin – such as brown spots, age spots or liver spots.

Titanium Dioxide – It is one of the 21 FDA approved sunscreen chemicals with an approved usage level of 2 to 25 percent. When applied, titanium dioxide remains on the skin’s surface, basically scattering UV light.

UVA/UVB – Ultraviolet radiation emitted from the sun which causes the most visibly damaging effects to the skin.

Vitamin E (D-alpha-tocopherol) – considered the most important oil-soluble antioxidant and free-radical scavenger. It is effective in preventing irritation due to sun exposure.
